Surprise!!! Here it is at last, my Sentence A Day post for June … seems I’m getting later and later at actually uploading these as a blog post, despite my best intentions.
Sure hope it was worth waiting for! LOL
June – Well this is a good start to the month – I haven’t written down what I did! As it was a Sunday and we were out and about all day yesterday, I think I can safely assume that it was a quiet day at home catching up on household chores.
June – Excited to host a new free webinar called “New Website! Now What?!” (I do free SEO webinars every couple of months if you’re interested!). I’m amazed by how many business owners think a new website is a magic bullet that will lead to increased leads and sales …. um no. In fact if it’s not done properly (with SEO in mind) it can actually cause both of these to drop off a cliff instead! And don’t get me started on the number of website builders who think they’ve optimised a website, when all they’ve done is instal a plugin. There’s a heck of a lot more to it than that!

June – Sharing my shopping list … as you can see we are a bit silly with it sometimes!

June – Snapped a quick sunrise shot before heading off to BNI; in the afternoon I had my hair done.

June –
June – Uh oh, leave my desk for a moment and somebody has stolen my chair …

June – As mentioned in our downsizing dreams, the husbear and I have been looking at apartments to get a better idea of what we want. Today we saw about five in the city and also South Bank. Here’s a pic from the security camera at one of the places we inspected, plus a stop for a snack in South Bank Parklands!

June – Our son is away in Sydney this weekend, and the husbear really wanted to go to the Winternats (drag racing) at Willowbank … so like a good li’l wifey, I went with him for the first time. Much to my surprise I had a great time! LOL

June – I might have been wearing a t-shirt and looking a bit sunburnt at the drags yesterday … today is a different story. Brrrrrrr it’s cold!
June – The husbear did some work on the motorhome in preparation for selling, Seth was “helping”.

June – Snapped a selfie of the gang at BNI Midas. Have I mentioned that I manage the Facebook page which is why I take so many pics at meetings?!

June – The coldest morning in 16 years! As you can see it was 7 degrees, but the “feels like” temperature was only 3. I made shepherd’s pie for dinner, a real winter warmer 🙂 .

June – The motorhome is officially listed for sale!

June – I wrote a blog post, and we had somebody put a deposit on the motorhome (already!).
June – Feels like ages since we were last at our island getaway, so we headed over today for some R&R.

June – I plucked my eyebrows this morning. Wow the fun never stops! In other news … the husbear is relieving in higher duties for a couple of weeks which means he will be in the office every day, I’m used to him working from home!
June – Oh dear, the buyer changed his mind. I gather his missus (who didn’t come an inspect the van with him) wasn’t real happy!
June – Had a business meeting at Joey’s Cafe at the top of the Kangaroo Point cliffs, check out the view! It’s open air dining, and it was quite chilly – fortunately the cafe provided us with blankets to help keep us warm!

June – Russell Crowe as a priest … now I’ve seen everything LOL. In case you hadn’t guessed, we watched a movie on Netflix, “The Pope’s Exorcist”.
June – ?
June – Clean sheets day!!!!! The friends look very happy 🙂 .

June – Grocery shopping, and in the evening Fleur and I snuggled up on the couch.

June – Fleur was very excited – she caught a lizard out on the deck and then proudly brought him in to show us! Ugh … RIP lizard.

June – Took my morning tea cuppa outside so I could soak up some sunshine.

June – ?
June – Oh dear my blood pressure is up again. Must see the doctor and get my medication adjusted.

June – The husbear had the day off, so he took me out for coffee (well technically hot chocolate) and cheesecake down at Cleveland Point 🙂 .

June – Off to the library for some more books to read – the husbear came too which is why I actually have a photo of me looking my glamourous weekend best (LOL)!

June – I haven’t done a jigsaw in ages, so I dug out one of the ones I got for my birthday and made a start.
June – A rainy Monday. We’ve been watching the “October Faction: series on Netflix, and I’ve been reading “The Strawberry Thief” (a sequel to Chocolat) by Joanne Harris. Today also marked the end of financial year and my figures are looking better than last financial year, though I’d still like them to be better!!!
Can you believe we are more than halfway through 2025 already?!!!!
