A Sentence A Day: May 2025

June 14, 2025 By Janetti Spaghetti

May was pretty marvellous, if I do say so myself πŸ˜‰ …

1 May – Not a good start to the month – I forgot to write down my sentence for the day!

2 May -It’s “casual Friday” at Front Page SEO! I try to cluster client meetings, training etc in the middle of the week, so I can take it a bit easier get some deep work done on Mondays and Fridays. Also it’s noteworthy because it’s the first time it’s been cool enough to wear jeans and a jumper this year! Winter is on the way …

3 May – I finished off the book I’ve been making for the husbear, for our 35th wedding anniversary. It’s in the style of A Sentence A Day, but instead a sentence or two a year about the highlights of our marriage, along with a photo or two.

4 May – We went to the Oz Feline Fair and Catstravaganza – my gorgeous hubby even made our custom cat t-shirts featuring Fleur and Seth! Afterwards we checked into an apartment in Queen’s WharfΒ  in the CBD for our anniversary (which is tomorrow, fortunately it’s a public holiday for Labour Day!). Our apartment was wayyyy up high (I forget what floor, 60-something?!).

8 May – Watched “The Secret DNA of Us” on SBS and enjoyed a Chinese takeaway.

9 May – Took the day off work and headed up to Caloundra, we stayed at the Grand Pacific Resort on Bulcock Beach. Grey skies and rain didn’t stop us having fun, we had gelato and went for a big beach walk.

We ended up completely drenched but once ZZ Top came on it was worth it πŸ™‚ … though I don’t think we’ll be going to another outdoor concert again!
